See who changed what in the audit log

The audit log records changes made in your academy: who did what, and when. You can filter it, search it in plain English and export it as a CSV file.

Written for: Owners and adminsUpdated

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, select Admin near the bottom. The admin console opens on the Audit tab. You can also select Open audit log on the Recent changes card at the bottom of a Settings section.

  2. The Audit log page lists activity newest first.

  3. Use the first menu, which shows Changes by default, to choose what to list: Changes, Access and exports, System jobs or Everything.

  4. Narrow the list with All actions, All actors, All targets, the Date range and a Record ID….

  5. Or type a question in the search box, for example a change type and a time period, and select Interpret. The page applies the matching filters.

  6. To keep a copy, select Export CSV. The export uses the filters you set.

  7. When filters are set, select Clear filters to go back to the full list.

Good to know

  • One export holds at most 10,000 rows. If you hit the limit, the page tells you to narrow the date range.
  • To see the history of a single invoice, open it and select Audit trail in its History card.
  • The Recent changes card in Settings shows the five newest set-up changes.
  • Owners, admins and the built-in operations role can read the audit log. Anyone else is sent back to the dashboard.
  • The trail is append-only. Entries cannot be edited or removed.
