Check attendance and book a make-up class
See every class your child was marked for, ask for a make-up after an absence and book a time with a make-up credit.
Steps
Open Attendance & make-ups. The Attendance list shows each class, its date and its status. Use From and To to pick a date range.
Statuses are Present, Late, Absent, Absent (no notice), Cancelled, Excused and Make-up class. If the academy recorded a reason, it appears under the row.
When an absence qualifies for a make-up, the row shows Request make-up. Select it, then Send request. The row then shows Make-up requested.
In Make-up classes, each credit shows the missed class and a status such as Available, Requested, Booked or Needs a time.
To book, select Choose a time, pick a time from the list (it shows the seats left), select Continue, then Confirm booking.
To cancel a booked make-up, select Cancel booking, then Yes, cancel booking. The credit comes back. You can cancel until the class starts.
Good to know
- Request make-up only appears for absences the academy allows a make-up for. It does not appear for every absence.
- If no times are open, the credit says so. Select Ask the academy to open the request form.
- A credit with an end date shows Expires [date].
- To tell the academy about an upcoming absence, select Report absence on the next class card on Home. This opens a request with Leave or absence already chosen.
